My journey into makeup artistry began long before it became my profession. In high school, I was the one friends trusted to prepare them for prom, homecoming, and life’s most meaningful moments. Even then, it was never just about makeup. It was about helping someone feel seen, confident, and deeply cared for.

As my passion grew, I chose to pursue formal cosmetology education, where I developed a strong foundation in sanitation, infection control, and professional client care. That experience shaped the way I view artistry. Makeup is creative and beautiful, yes—but it is also a responsibility. Every face we touch deserves knowledge, intention, and respect.

While working in the industry, I began to notice something important. In Washington State, artists can legally offer makeup services without a cosmetology or esthetics license. Some see that as a problem. I saw it as a calling.

I saw talented artists entering the field with incredible passion but without clear guidance in sanitation, business structure, or the deeper understanding of why techniques work. Many were left feeling lost, confused, and afraid to turn their gift into a real career.

And the truth is—makeup artistry is often treated like a hobby.

But this work is powerful.
It is transformative.
It is a respectable and sustainable career capable of creating real financial freedom and generational impact when done with excellence.

That is why I created Beautistry Makeup Academy.

I built this academy to bridge the gaps traditional programs often leave behind—sanitation, safety, and business education—while teaching artistry in a way that makes sense. My students don’t just learn steps to memorize. They learn the science behind the skin, the purpose behind each product, and the why behind every decision. When you understand the why, you never have to guess. You gain the ability to serve any client with confidence.

Teaching is one of the greatest honors of my life. Watching artists discover their capability, build belief in themselves, and step into professionalism with pride is why I do what I do.

At Beautistry Makeup Academy, we teach more than makeup.

We teach integrity.
We teach responsibility.
We teach confidence.
We teach artists how to build careers, not just complete services.

Every detail of this academy—from the curriculum to the mentorship—is rooted in my love for people, my respect for client safety, and my commitment to elevating the beauty industry.

My mission is simple:

To prepare artists who are not only talented, but educated, ethical, and empowered to build thriving businesses while delivering makeup safely and beautifully.

Because when artistry meets integrity, lives change.
